In observance of Financial Literacy Month, PenFed is offering financial education seminars from reputable professionals.

One of our main goals is to help people reach their financial potential. Through CUSO Financial Services, L.P* (CFS), our PenFed Invest affiliate is offering a series of financial planning seminars for people planning for their future.

CFS is a credit union service organization and registered broker dealer that has partnered with PenFed in order to provide access to financial consultants all across the country. CFS is headquartered in San Diego, California with regional program managers throughout the country.

“PenFed Invest helps the credit union better care for its members; it’s a great, collaborative effort. Our goal is to use our resources to reach out to the wider communities. Simply put, we want to educate more people,” Christopher Urso, Regional Program Manager for CFS.

Qualified industry professionals lead these seminars. CFS Financial Consultants with PenFedInvest all hold FINRA and state licenses and have more than 16 years of industry experience each.

PenFedInvest seminars are open to the public. No membership is required to attend. These seminars are held in a variety of publicly accessible Marriott conference facilities and public government buildings. Some are held on military installations.

The topics discussed in these sessions include:

  • Understanding your TSP
  • Understanding Life Insurance
  • Retirement Income Options
  • Asset Allocation
  • Financial Planning 101
  • Understanding Annuities
